The shaft was to small to get my foot in I have a high arch . I was so disappointed! Great looking well made boot !
My new Gunner’s are my first pair of RR boots. I have been very happy with them since the day they arrived. I have a “difficult” foot but these boots were immediately comfortable and have become my daily choice. I would definitely recommend RR boots to anyone who asks.
Beautiful, well made, very comfortable boots. I’ve been wearing them to work for long days on my feet, and they’ve been excellent. The rubber used for the outsole is a nice combination of durable with good traction, but also lightweight and quiet. Only two issues. The first is that the sizing may not be what you’re accustomed to. I normally wear an 11 in Lucchese and Justin and usually an 11.5 or 12 in running shoes, but this boot in size 11 is wider in the heel and slightly loose across the mid foot, causing more heel slip than I’d like. I probably should have exchanged them for a narrow size or a 10.5, but I didn’t and that’s on me. Thick wool socks fixed the problem well enough. The second issue is that the shaft height is too low. Granted, this is my first pair of ropers, but I think now that there’s a reason that ropers standardly come in a 10” shaft height— these shorter boots are kind of difficult to pull on because of the low height.
Boots were beautifully made. Unfortunately I thought they were women's boots, not because they look like woman's boot, but because I just like that style as a woman. Maybe someday they will make a woman's boot that looks like a man's boot....I guess. :)
Love these boots, leather has character and Gunner style is exactly what I was looking for.
