We were born out of love for the great American West.
We make timeless fine leather boots rooted in classic style with life-lasting quality. Our styles are inspired by western and military cultures. What started as a modest custom boot operation developed in San Angelo, Texas, grew into a collection of everyday staples released twice a year sold direct-to-consumer and through select retail partners.
We value integrity, individuality, self-expression, and hope to inspire the same through our designs.
We make fine leather boots the old school way—handcrafted. Working alongside some of the world's best shoemakers with generations of experience and family-owned operations enables us to provide nothing less than premium craftsmanship across all of our designs. We believe that you should never have to concede top quality for price and in providing exceptional value across every facet of our brand.
There are over 250 steps to make each pair of Ranch Road Boots, and most of these are done by hand. Our boots are proudly handcrafted in Spain with nothing but the best quality in materials to last a lifetime. Our boots are authentically made by expert makers using certified old-school techniques, including traditional boot lasts (molds), Goodyear welt construction, and cork-filled footbeds. Ranch Road Boot leathers are sustainably sourced from small high-standard leather tanneries in Spain, are extremely durable, and develop a beautiful and unique patina over age.
It is important for us to deliver exceptional value at both product and price. We believe high-end designer boots don’t have to come at a premium marked-up price. We work to keep pricing fair and transparent by sharing our standard pricing model. It is by primarily selling direct to consumer (online) that we avoid much of the costly overhead legacy brands carry, enabling us to beat traditional luxury retail markups.
We believe that the world we live in is a good as we make it. We are proud of the American roots that inspire our brand and value those who protect them. Our founder, Sarah Ford, is a proud USMC veteran and supports the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund by donating proceeds from each Ranch Road Boots purchase.
A San Angelo, Texas native, and former Marine Corps officer, is the creative director of Ranch Road Boots. Inspired by her granddad, West Texas roots, military background, and an appreciation of global gaucho culture, Sarah designs timeless styles for the modern day. She believes boots are a staple in everyone’s closet and her approach is to create fun and unique designs with the utmost integrity in craftsmanship at an attainable price. Through her boots, she hopes to inspire people to be 100% authentically themselves, embracing their individuality and own paths.
